Japan is getting Sake Flavored Kit Kats

Japan is well-known for its wide variety of Kit Kats, with flavors ranging from New York cheese cake, wasabi, red bean, pudding, and of course the all time favorite green tea.

Starting February 1, Nestle Japan will release a new flavor based on the country’s traditional nihonshuu, sake as it is known internationally.

The new Kit Kats contain sake powder which has been kneaded into the white chocolate-encased wafers, giving the chocolates all the flavour and aroma of a top-quality rice wine, while providing a light and refreshing aftertaste.
