KAT-TUN to go on Temporary Hiatus

After KAT-TUN’s 10th anniversary tour, the group plans on going on a temporary hiatus to help fix their current situation.

Group member Nakamura Yuichi stated, “We will be stopping our group activities during this period and focus on our solo activities.” The group ensured fans that they will not be disbanding.

The temporary hiatus will begin on May 1 after its dome tour performance in Tokyo.

The decision was made days after the announcement of Taguchi Junnosuke leaving the group at the end of March. Over the past 5 years, KAT-TUN has lost 3 of its 6 original members.
