The iDOLM@STER gets Live Action TV Drama in South Korea

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that their popular The iDOLM@STER franchise will be receiving a live action TV drama in South Korea. The title of the TV show is The iDOLM@STER K.R. and auditions will start mid-May for 15 idols.

Interactive Media Mix, Inc. will be doing the planning and production of the series. The show will follow the concept of the previous works and will center on a new group of idols’ growth, performances, and mutual friendships. The story will be set in South Korea, and will follow the country’s production and entertainment industry. It is also said that the characters from the game will not appear in the show.
