Baby Steps gets Live Action TV Drama

e970f24ccb8496d7c1a7dc70683e4cd41396711756_fullAmazon Japan has listed next week’s issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine (issue #27 of this year) on their site and reveals the cover of the magazine. On the magazine is announces that Katsuki Hikaru’s Baby Step tennis manga will be getting a live action TV drama adaptation.

The story follows Maruo Eiichirou, a boy who strives for straight A’s. In high school, he learns tennis in order to deal with his lack of exercise and meets Takasaki Natsu, who teaches him the game.

The manga first published back in 2007 and currently has 39 volumes. The series first anime series aired back in April 2014 and the second season last month.
