Fune wo Amu or lit. TV Anime to Star Sakurai Takahiro, Kamiya Hiroshi, and Sakamoto Maaya
The official website of the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Miura Shion’s Fune wo Amu or lit. novel has released a trailer and revealed the main cast.
The story follows Mitsuya Majime and Nishioka Masashi, who work at Genbu Shobo publishing company, two totally opposite personalities who work together to compile a Japanese dictionary called “The Great Passage.”
Mitsuya Majime – CV: Sakurai Takahiro
A salesman from Genbu Shobo publishing company. He has a hard time conveying his thoughts to others.
Nishioka Masashi – CV: Kamiya Hiroshi
Works in the editorial department of Genbu Shobo. Has great communication skills, but has no interest in compiling a dictionary.
Hayashi Kaguya – CV: Sakamoto Maaya
Studying to become a chef. She is the granddaughter of the landlord where Mitsuya lives. Begins to take interest in Mitsuya.
