Non-Japanese Series Have a Chance of Joining Weiss Schwarz

This past Sunday, Bushiroad surprised us by adding Lucas Films and Disney’s Star Wars to their popular anime trading card game Weiss Schwarz (Check out the article here). It was later confirmed that the Star Wars set will be based off from Stars Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, V: The Empire Strikes Back, and VI: Return of the Jedi.

With Star Wars joining Weiss, this opens up a lot of doors for other series not only from Japan but all over the world. It’s possible that Star Wars can get multiple sets for Episodes I, II, and III, and the new trilogy VII, VIII, and IX once they official come out. This could also possibly mean that Indiana Jones can get a set due to it being a film(s) of Lucas Films, but what’s even bigger is that Disney owns Star Wars now, which means Marvel comics and Disney cartoons isn’t a dream.  Maybe even Rooster Teeth’s RWBY, which was rumored to join Weiss Schwarz a while back might finally get a set now.

What do you guys think? Was it a good move to add Star Wars into the card game? What other series do you guys want to see in Weiss Schwarz that is not anime?
